Fujitsu Siemens Computers Final Financial Results – Profit Before Tax grew by 27% to €121 Million
Munich/Germany, May 2 2006 –Fujitsu Siemens Computers BV, the leading European IT provider, announced that its final financials for its Fiscal Year 2005 (ending March 31, 2006) are clearly reflecting the company’s focus of further expanding its profitable business. The revenue was € 6.65 billion, a creditable 11 percent growth compared to the previous fiscal year. Profit before tax (PBT) grew even more strongly and reached €121 million, an improvement of 27 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. Profits before tax exceed the previously announced figure (of €120 million) due to a stronger focus on high margin business especially in the last two months of the fiscal year 2005/2006.
The revenue announced is slightly lower than the preliminary figure (of €6.70 billion) published at CeBIT 2006 due to weaker than expected consumer sales. Profit before tax reached €94 million, a growth of 27 percent compared to the previous year.
