Executive Summary
The LIFEBOOK Q2010 was designed by executives for executives. With the ultimate combination of form, function and style, the LIFEBOOK Q2010 has the ultimate in connectivity, is made of the finest materials, is lightweight and will fit into any briefcase. Fujitsu Siemens Computers is one of the first major vendors to announce products with embedded UMTS, enabling anytime, anywhere data access and telephony. Weighing in at a mere one kilogram, the compact LIFEBOOK Q2010 is only 20mm thin in DIN A4 format. And for executives who want a PC that has style as well as performance, the LIFEBOOK Q2010 was designed using only the finest materials, with titanium joints, magnesium housing and black piano lacquer finish. The LIFEBOOK Q2010 is the perfect mobile companion for managers and decision-makers spending much of their time on the move.
“We repeatedly discussed our requirements and the best way to fulfill them with the laboratories as well as our colleagues in Japan. The end result is a very exclusive notebook that flawlessly blends an appealing design with the latest technology,” commented Peter Esser, Executive Vice President, Volume Products & Supply Operations at Fujitsu Siemens Computers. “In an effort to keep the device as small as possible, we left out the optical drive. Instead UMTS enables fast and wireless data access. For me, the LIFEBOOK Q2010 is the perfect addition to our mobility portfolio, which has been winning over customers for years with versatile, smart and technologically innovative systems.”
