Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches AMILO Pro V8210 and LIFEBOOK C1410
Munich/Germany, July 31, 2006 – Fujitsu Siemens Computers is set to launch two new entry-level notebooks with the latest Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology on the market. Both the AMILO Pro V8120 and the LIFEBOOK C1410, which features an additional modular bay, are suited for standard office applications.The AMILO Pro V8210 offers versatile support for professional users. Based on Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology and equipped with a 15.4-inch WXGA display, the entry-level notebook offers four USB ports, Bluetooth and Wireless LAN, as well as a DVD burner. It is available as of now at prices starting at €1,749 (e.g. in Germany, incl. VAT).
The newly designed LIFEBOOK C1410 is available with either a 15-inch XGA or a 15.4-inch WXGA display. In addition to the standard connections, the new LIFEBOOK C series features a serial and a parallel interface and a modular bay, which can be used for a an optical drive or a supplementary rechargeable battery that allows the battery lifetime to be boosted to up to 12 hours (depending on the model and the applications involved). The LIFEBOOK C1410 will hit the shelves as of now at prices starting at €1,899 (e.g. in Germany, incl. VAT).
